It has an applied ornate base, figural floral finial on the hinged lid and carved wooden handle. Made by Richard Pierce & George Burrows II, London, 1844.
This gorgeous teapot is 5 3/8" tall to the tip of the handle, 7 1/4" wide across the handle and the spout and weighs 306.8 grams or 9.89 ozs Troy. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
