This is a full set for 12, along with several serving pieces. All the pieces of the set are sturdy and well made, with a nice feeling of weight in the hand. The majority of the pieces, (55 pieces, including the forks and spoons) are original Victorian pieces dating to circa 1850. The rest are 20th century pieces, but match perfectly. The old Victorian pieces have a finely engraved crest on the handle, of a cow or bull. The newer pieces have no crests or monograms whatsoever. This is a superb English set, clean and ready to grace your home. 12 Dinner forks-- Each 8 1/2 inches long. All the forks have the cow crest. The dinner forks are hallmarked with the leopard's head for London, the maker's mark GA for George Adams, Queen Victoria's head duty mark, and the date letter P for 1850. 12 Luncheon/salad forks-- Each 7 inches long. The luncheon forks are hallmarked with the leopard's head, the maker's mark for George Adams, and Queen Victoria's head duty mark. Seven forks have the date letter Q for 1851, five have the P for 1850. 12 Dinner knives-- Each 10 inches long.
