Exception and fine English Sterling Silver hot water Urn by Richard Sibley of London. The large urn bears the hallmarks and date year of 1840 and is decorated with fine floral scrolls and scalloped shells with a large flower finial on the lid. The base is marked for London retailer Makepeace. The kettle features original cast iron slug and t-bar for heating the water.
