Antique 1924 English Sterling Silver Pierced Footed Bowl w/ Floral Design. Presented is a fabulous English sterling silver centerpiece bowl. This piece dates to 1924 and was made by Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd. The bowl is done in a handsome form with paneled sides and a crenellated rim. Around the upper portion, the bowl is beautifully pierced with decoration in the form of scrolling vines and foliage against a vertical trellis-like design.
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. This piece is hallmarked on the side with the lion passant for sterling silver, the anchor for the city of Birmingham, the date letter Z for 1924, and the maker's mark for Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd.
