The spoon is in great overall condition. There is some surface wear, but nothing significant, certainly not what you'd expect for a piece that's been around for about 250 years. There are no splits, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
This piece is hallmarked on the back of the stem with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter L for 1766, and the maker's mark for William Tant. The spoon is about 8 3/8 inches long.
The spoon weighs 70 grams or 2.5 regular ounces. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution.
