These pieces were made in 1822. This set has a handsome ribbed pattern and a very bright gilded interior. The cups are a fair weight and have an elegant stand-alone presence. There is no holder for this set. The cups are clean and ready for use.
Each cup is hallmarked with the English lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head for London, the date letter g for the year 1822, and the duty mark of King George IV. Each cup is also marked with the maker's mark W. This set is in phenomenal condition, especially considering age. There are no monograms, no monogram removals, no dents, no breaks and no repairs.
