1846 Great Pair English Victorian Sterling Silver Kings/Queens Dinner Forks. Presented is a great pair of English Victorian sterling silver dinner forks. These forks were made by George Adams and date to 1846.

The forks are done in a classical King or Kings type pattern, with the traditional shell and scroll motifs on the front and back of the handle. Each fork is finely engraved with a crest of a hand holding a heart, on the back of the handle. This set is in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

Each piece is hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head for the city of London, the date letter L for 1846, Queen Victoria's head duty mark, and the maker's mark for George Adams. Each fork is about 8 1/8 inches long.
