1796 Beautiful Georgian English Sterling Silver Bowl Engraved Border. Presented is sterling silver Georgian bowl from Charles Aldridge.
This piece has a beautiful engraved pattern below the reeded lip of the bowl. This piece stands on a wide pedestal foot with a similar reeded border.
There is a monogram on the side of the bowl, "MWG" in a traditional script. This piece is hallmarked with the English Lion Passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the duty mark of King George III, and the date mark "A" representing 1796. The bowl is also marked with the maker's mark, CA, for Charles Aldridge. The piece is in great condition. There is minimal surface wear. There are no breaks and no repairs.
